C.G. Conn Wonder Transitionalは1931年から1934年頃に製造されたモデルで、New WonderからMシリーズ（6M、26M）へと移行する過程で誕生した過渡期のサックスです。またTransitionalは、正式なモデル名ではなく過渡期のモデルであることから。ヴィンテージ界隈で呼ばれている名称です。
この時代はサックスの進化において重要な変革期であり、旧来の技術と新しい設計が入り混じることで、独自の魅力を持つモデルが生まれました。New Wonderの設計を色濃く残しながらもネックやキー配置にMシリーズの要素が取り入れられており、個体によって細かな違いが見られます。

History
The C.G. Conn Wonder Transitional was produced between approximately 1931 and 1934 and is a model that emerged during the transitional period between the New Wonder and M series (6M, 26M). "Transitional" is not an official model name but rather a nickname used by vintage saxophone players to describe this model.
This era marked an important turning point in the evolution of saxophones, where traditional techniques blended with new designs, resulting in a saxophone with a unique charm. While retaining much of the New Wonder's design, it incorporates elements of the M series in the neck and key layout, with slight variations from instrument to instrument.
